Every family is a member of Park Day School’s parent association, the Parent Stewardship Group (PSG). The PSG is led by parent volunteers and activities and efforts build community within the school and among families. PSG volunteers support select multi-grade/all-school events, organize community-fueled teacher appreciation efforts, strengthen overall family connections, and help build a stronger community by helping parents plug in and volunteer to support Park Day School.
The mission of the PSG is to cultivate a strong and productive parent community that builds a culture of volunteerism and engagement. The PSG co-chairs facilitate communication between parents, committees, and the school, coordinates opportunities for parent participation, and find ways for parents to support the school’s mission, philosophy and key initiatives.
